How we keep modules upgrade-safe
Custom code is where Odoo projects get expensive later. We extend Odoo through its inheritance system instead of editing core files, keep each feature in its own module, and write tests for the logic that matters. When a new Odoo version arrives, the work to move forward is visible and bounded.

Will custom modules block future Odoo upgrades?
Not if they're built as proper add-ons. Upgrades still need testing and some adjustment, and we estimate that effort for you before each version move.

Yes. We review the existing code first, then quote the change and any clean-up it needs.
Do we own the code?
